Free Online Practice Resources for ACT Tests and SAT Tests! I4C now offers free SAT and ACT vocabulary and math quizzes. Become a free member and log in as much as you'd like. Students can take practice tests on 5000 vocabulary words. or over 1000 math problems. Parents and Mentors can log in to monitor your scores - including seeing which vocabulary words they missed. Interactive quizzes allow the test taker to retake and study as much as they want.

November brings Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, National Author's Day, and more. Visit our monthly newsletter to see all the details. Below are just a few highlights.
WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS MONTH?
Here are just a couple of the November events that you can celebrate this month.
- National Author's Day (Nov 1)- Celebrate Language Arts , Elementary writing, and Middle/High School writing skills .Discover author's purpose. Practice with our author's purpose worksheets and interactive author's purpose lessons. Students can get inspired with our kid authors and online stories section. We also have Essay Writing: Narrative, Persuasive, and Expository lessons, interactives, and prompts.
- Daylight Saving Fall Forward (Nov 4) - Did you know that states such as Arizona, Hawaii, and parts of Indiana do not observe day light saving?.It all started with the theory that making it seem darker or lighter would save energy.
- Election Day (Nov 6) - No matter who you vote for, we want to recognize the value of being able to vote in the U.S. Here are some great sites that explain the election process - including how someone gets appointed to become the president, what it means to register to vote, and the campaigning process. Visit our I4C site to get information on past presidents, explore presidential libraries, and even view historic campaign commercials.
- Veteran's Day (Nov 11) - According to the History web site, in the U.S. there are 9.2 million veteran's over the age of 65 and 1.9 million under the age of 35. Show our troops how much you care and recognize their dedication with our Veteran's day lessons, letter activities, and project ideas.
- Thanksgiving (Nov 22) - Talk like a pilgrim. Find cool Thanksgiving craft ideas. Learn about the history of Thanksgiving, and read themed poetry.

TECHNOLOGY TIPS
- Tabs in Excel: Don't forget you can create multiple docs in 1 Excel file by using the sheet tabs at the bottom. Save time and clicking. Right click on the sheet tab to rename it too. Excel tutorials
- Typing Practice: Alot of assignments have moved to being electronic. This page gives kids practice sites and lessons to help improve their typing skills. It's great for adults too.
- ID Any Image!: Did you know you can drag ANY image into the google home page, and it will identify it's source? Just make sure the google homepage is open before you drag your images from other websites. Other tech help
