  5. In 1909, Wright Brothers deliver first military plane to the United States Army.
  6. In 1928, George Eastman shows the first color motion pictures in the United States
  7. In 1935, the first paperback book is published by Penguin.
  8. In 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Medicare bill into law.
  9. In 1976, Bruce Jenner wins a gold metal in the Men's Decathlon at the Olympics in Montreal, Canada.
  10. In 2002, WNBA player Lisa Leslie of the Los Angeles Sparks became the first woman to dunk in a professional game during her team's 82-73 loss to the Miami Sol.
  11. Vladimir Zworykin (Russian-born American inventor and the father of television), Arnold Schwarzenegger (actor and Governor of California), Buddy Guy (blues musician)
