  3. In 1903, Ford Motor Company sells its first Model A car.
  4. In 1958, first 4 women are named to peerage in the House of Lords in Great Britain.
  5. 23 Air Force Colonel Eileen M. Collins becomes the first woman to command a space shuttle. (1999)
