Free Online Practice Resources for ACT Tests and SAT Tests! I4C now offers free SAT and ACT vocabulary and math quizzes. Become a free member and log in as much as you'd like. Students can take practice tests on 5000 vocabulary words. or over 1000 math problems. Parents and Mentors can log in to monitor your scores - including seeing which vocabulary words they missed. Interactive quizzes allow the test taker to retake and study as much as they want.

Summer is in full swing! We're on our 2nd month of break already. Celebrate July 4th, Ice Cream Month, Picnic Month, and more. We hope you are taking advantage of the Summer Learning Program. Visit our monthly newsletter to see all the details. Below are just a few highlights.
WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS MONTH?
Here are just a couple of the May events that you can celebrate this month.
- National Ice Cream Month- Did you know the ice cream industry generates more than $21 billion in the U.S. each year!! Learn how ice cream is made, the history of it all, and the history behind the ice cream cone.
- National Picnic Month- Don't pack the same old boring picnic basket this summer. Enjoy these creative recipes to spruce up a picnic outing .Find really cute preschool-age picnic-themed songs & games, picnic-themed books, and crafts . Here's a link that offers a lot of tips for packing your picnic basket, games to play for all ages, recipes, and more.
- July 4th-Adopted the Declaration of Independence 1776-The first public White House, fourth of July celebration, occurred in 1804. We continue to hold parades, picnics, and firework celebrations each year to honor America's independence. Find July 4th crafts, activities, and recipes you can do at home.
- Macaroni Day (7-7)-Who doesn't love Macaroni and Cheese! How about 30 different ways to make it ? Celebrate Macaroni Day with these fun noodle-inspired crafts - make sure to scroll through the right-hand side for even more links.
- Ramadan Begins (7-20)-Ramadan is observed on the ninth month of the Islamic Calendar. Fasting begins at daybreak and ends at sunset, and this spiritual reflection and purification lasts the entire month. Learn more about Ramadan, its history, and traditions.

- Also remember the importance of talking to our children about strangers. "Stranger Danger" doesn't always prove to be the most effective. Find other ways to teach kids about the true issues they may face. Help them understand their rules of safety.

TECHNOLOGY TIPS
- Open Word Without Finding the Program: If you right click on your desktop, and highlight "New" you can quickly open a Word document. Other Office tips.
