Word List 1
- beverage: A liquid for drinking, usually not water
- companion: A person that goes along with or accompanies another person
- navigate: To chart the way to a particular place while in a vehicle
- bazaar: A group of outdoor shops where many different things are sold.
- currency: The type of money used in a country for purchasing items.
- apprehensive: Afraid of the future or what may be coming
- omniscient: knowing and understanding everything
Thursday Activities
- Create your own book with your vocabulary words. Click on the link to go to the site.
- Before you start, create an account. Log in and select Create and Edit my books. Read the instructions on how to use the site. Write a vocabulary word on each page and illustrate it if you wish.
- You can also add audio that you have recorded on your home computer. Save your book and let your friends and parents hear your work.

Use the daily activities to help you remember words that you learn each week. It is much easier to remember what the words mean if you do something with them and use them frequently in talking with your parents, family and friends.
