Word List 2
- energy: the power to do work, usable power
- precipitation: types of water that fall from the sky, such as rain or snow
- meteorologist: a scientist who studies the weather.
- temperature: how hot or cold something is
Friday Activities
- Listen and read along with these story books! Click on the link to start. Find the grade level and let your child pick out a book he wants to read and listen to, plus activities about the story to follow reading.
- Go to the Spelling City website. Type in your list of vocabulary words. Click on the button that says Play A Game.
- Click on Handwriting at the very bottom. Have your parent print out the sheet. Practice writing your words. Put completed sheet in your vocabulary notebook.

Use the daily activities to help you remember words that you learn each week. It is much easier to remember what the words mean if you do something with them and use them frequently in talking with your parents, family and friends.
