Word List 15
- fold: To bend over or double up making one part lie on top of another part.
- search: To look around in order to find something.
- cheer: To shout out to help celebrate; to encourage or honor someone.
- idea: To come up with a plan or an action.
Thursday Activities
- Make your words move using this tool. Click on the link to start. Type in your words putting spaces between them on the right. You can change the settings on the left side when you click on the settings tab. Be creative and have fun!
- Whirly Game - Have an adult read the directions to you. Sound out the words. Is it a real word or not?
- Word Scrambler - Click on the link and create your own word scrambler with your vocabulary words. Type in the number of words you wish to scramble and press the "next" button. You will see a sheet that has the answers for you. Press next again and print out the page. Complete it and put it in your notebook.

Use the daily activities to help you remember words that you learn each week. It is much easier to remember what the words mean if you do something with them and use them frequently in talking with your parents, family and friends.
