i4c Milestones

The day things went crazy! Kathy Shrock selected our index of technology modules found on the web as her Site of the School Day on 4/3/01. This is what the site meter showed when I logged off at 10 PM.

Things tapered off, returning closer to pre-Shrock selection numbers, for a while.

Our site meter, as it looked on Thursday (4/6/01) on the graph above

March 14 to April 13 of 2001

The first time we went over 10,000 visitors for a single day - 11/17/2003

Ten million pages have been viewed as of 3/9/04

April 2002 to the beginning of March 2003

April 2003 to March 2004

Just before 8 AM i4c went past 2.5 million visitors

On 4/1/04 Tech Learning magazine named us their site of the day
(No, that was not an April Fool's Day joke)

On February 1, 2005, the day before the groundhog saw his shadow, i4c eclipsed all previous daily totals.

Tech Learning came back to us as their Site of the Day on February 11, 2005

Today, Monday March 7, 2005, for the first time our hourly total of visitors reached 7000.

It took only 27 days for one million visitors to come to i4c

In April, 2005, we received notification that James Lerman listed us in the Technology Integration sections of two ISTE publications;
101 Best Web Sites for Elementary Teachers and 101 Best Web Sites for Secondary Teachers.

After TCAP Testing Preparation

Good luck?
Hope so!

The graph above illustrates something very important about how teachers use Internet4Classrooms. During the weekends (mostly on Saturday) teachers spend time searching for sites that they will use in their lessons during the coming week. Monday through Friday they come to Internet4Classrooms as a jumping off point for their students. They already know what they will be using with their lessons, so visit time and page view time is very short.

The map shows our 100 most recent visitors around 9:30 AM on a Sunday morning (CST)

Growth over the past year - The April peak was due to TCAP

On Wednesday, January 11, 2006 almost 110,000 visitors came to Internet4Classrooms.

These two interesting number repetions showed up near the end of February. The second one was on a day that was also a pattern. (Feb 22 would be 2/22)

We have stopped posting screen shots of each million, but this one (on March 16, 2006) was special

On 12/2/2007

May 16, 2008 was "digital day" at i4c; ones and zeroes.

The day after digital day this interesting pattern showed up on our site meter digital counter.

September 24, 2008 was another "digital day" at i4c; ones and zeroes.
