Thursday Activities

1. Write a Story - Using your weekly words, create a story and type it into a Word document on your own computer.
2. Draw a picture that goes along with your story.
3. You may wish to use the program called "Paint" in Windows to draw your picture. Click on the link for directions to use this program.

Use the daily activities to help you remember words that you learn each week. It is much easier to remember what the words mean if you do something with them and use them frequently in talking with your parents, family and friends.

Sample sentences:

I caught the fish in my net
The fish I caught was bigger than Dad's.

When my dad caught the fish, I hurried over to see it.
Dad told me to hurry up and get dressed so we could leave.

I saw a fish near the boat and tried to catch it.
I sat near the edge of the boat.

I was ready to catch a lot of fish today!
I dressed quickly and said, "I'm ready, Dad!"
