  • 1933 - the 18th Amendment was repealed.

  • Billy Sunday - evangelical preacher of the 1920s who appealed to simple, traditional values
  • Clarence Darrow - defense attorney for John Scopes, a biology teacher who was prosecuted for teaching evolution.
  • F. Scott Fitzgerald - famous American author of the 1920s
