  Technology Tips

Tech Tip #1: Reduce the Size of Outlook Files

Your Microsoft Outlook mailbox grows as you create and receive items. When you delete items, the size of the Outlook Data File (.pst and .ost) file might not decrease in proportion to the data that you deleted. There are several ways to manage your mailbox and reduce the size of the data file. Read more in the article found: HERE.

Tech Tip #2: Take Me Back - Word Documents

If you need to step away from a document but want to have your cursor sitting right where you left it in the middle of an editing session when you return, you don't have to leave your document open. Go ahead and close it. When you reopen it to resume editing, hit Shift+F5 to take your cursor back to precisely where you were.. Read more Microsoft Word Tips in the article found: HERE.

Tech Tip #3: Quickly Find a Worksheet in a Workbook Full of Worksheets

Large Excel documents often contain so many worksheets that you can't view them all at the bottom without scrolling to find them. Even with a wide-screen display, there's no way to get them all in for easy navigation. To navigate quickly between worksheets, right-click on the navigation arrows to the left of the worksheet tabs and a list will pop up with all the worksheet names. The active worksheet will have a check next to it. Left-click on the name of the sheet you want and you'll jump straight to it.
